Chatroom Widget by 99chats.com

If you have a blog or website and want something to have so that your visitors can interact with each other and can ask and solve problems themselves,then this tutorial is for you.

99chats.com is providing a perfect solution for this and that also for free of cost.I have checked the interface of this widget and it is cool and works perfectly and really look professional.You should try this.


1.Open 99chats.com and click on Sign up now button.



2.Enter your email and type a password and click on sign up.



3.Now configure your chat room widget by selecting Room name,language and the most important thigs-a nice Theme that matches your website/blog's color scheme and then click Continue.




4.Now copy the javascript embed code and it it your blog either in Dashboard>Layout>Add a Gadget>HTML/Javascirpt or simply make a new post about this widget and add this in it and save your post.It is better idea to add it in new post.

    I dont know much about this but Most HTML code will work on Facebook as 'FBML'

    FBML just means you can't use some certain html tags (like embed or object) and have to replace them with equivalent fb tags.

    There's also additional fbml tags for displaying facebook photos, etc but this shouldn't be needed if you're just converting html to fbml.

    ok never mind , i already changed the html code to fbml and it is working now on my fan page but the problem now that i can't but more than one contact in my chat i mean that each time i log on to chat it is ok at first but when another one enter the chat i finde myself loged out 1

    How do you ban more then one person at a time? Someone did it in a chat and banned every single one of them at the same time. (They unbanned them after they did that. She/he never said how to do it)

    @ Anonymous:Sorry buddy you cant view his widget on your Nokia handset coz this is based on active X Flash content,but you might try opening it on Bolt mobile browser,,,maybe it works for you,,Google for it,,,it is the last hope...Bye,,,Good luck.

    I need help as well. As an admin, you are able to kick, ban, etc other people. But, when I do that I get a message that says 'You must log in' even though I'm logged in on my wet paint account. I try the password/name for the 'operators' and it just says *Usage:/login

    I type the info in that order, but it still says incorrect. I even typed it like this- [Username]:[Password]
    Still nothing.
    Please, help...

    I am having trouble embedding this chat widget on my weebly site. Every time I put in the code, it says that I am using the old embed code and that 99chats had an update. However, this is the newest code they'll give me. I tried making new rooms but they all have this problem. I tried both types of code, too, to no avail. I was thinking maybe I have to reload the chat room, but it won't let me. (every time I click reload, it just freezes on the reloading screen). Help?
