How to submit blog to Alexa

Q-What is Alexa?
A-Alexa is a website that rates other websites and blogs according to number of visitors they receive daily.It means that,lower the rank you have,greater the number of visitors you are receiving than blogs having higher alexa rank than you.It means,having a lower alexa rank is better and not higher one.


Q-How to submit a blog to alexa for indexing?
A-If you have a blog or website,which is currently not indexed by alexa,you can add it to alexa by following the steps I have given along with images below:



1.Open Alexa.com and click For Site Owners option.

2.Click on Self-service Tools option.[Note:If you have to register or login first,then register or login there yourself]

3.Enter your blog URL and click on submit.

4.Now you will have to verify your blog.



5.For this,copy the meta tag,open new tab or window of your browser and login to your Blogger Dashboard>Layout>Edit HTML and paste that meta tag after <head> tag in your template and click save template.

6.Now get back to alexa verify page and click on verify my meta tag.
7.Now you will get an confirmation message and alexa will crawl your blog within a few days.

    u must copy the meta tag given by them and paste it after head tag as shown in pic in ur blog template and then hit save

    The problem is that blogspot changes the format of it. I had it fail then realized it changed it.
