Airtel GPRS vs BSNL GPRS. Which one is best?

Here we are with comparison between GPRS Service two of the biggest opponents in telecom service providers-Bharti Airtel and BSNL.

Airtel is know for its best consumer satisfaction service, while BSNL has many faluts in its service. In this post,I will be comparing the GPRS service provided by both of the providers, and will conlude, which one is best.

Airtel GPRS Service:

Airtel has many GRPRS plans such as Rs 22 pack,Rs 500 pack and many more. You can find all such plans by dialing *567#(Toll Free).
In Rs 22 pack, you are given 2 days validity with 200 MB free data usage(Check out this post for full detail about this plan.)Browsing speed is poor and downloading speed doesn't exceeds 7-8kbps.
Websites like Orkut,Youtube,Facebook & many more are very slow.Rs 22 pack contains a limit of 200 MB which means you cannot surf anonymously.

BSNL GPRS Service:

BSNL has two plans-Per Day plan for Rs 22 and monthly plan for Rs 280.Both are very cheap plans compared to Airtel and have comparatively good browsing and downloading speed. Both gives you unlimited data usage which is not available in Airtel's Rs 22 Pack.Downloading speed averages between 5-40 kbps which makes it number one compared with other GPRS Service providers.
The bad point is only that, users may experience downtimes while using this service.
However, such downtimes are less reported in Airtel.

I will recommend to use BSNL GPRS because of its best browsing and downloading speed in the segment.
