Using Meta Tag to Increase Visitors

Meta tag in our blogger template is very important for SEO of our blog.If configured properly,it can help to get a good number of visitors to your blog by making your blog more visible and transparent to Google.Lets see how to do this:

1.Login to your blogger and click on Layout>Edit HTML




2.Backup your template before making any change in template.


3.Search for following code :

<title><data:blog.pageTitle/></title> .

Or if you were unable to search for above code,try searching for following code:

<title><data:blog.pageTitle/></title>

4.Now simply copy the following code after the above code:

<meta content='blog description here' name='description'/>



<meta content='key wod here' name='keyword'/>

5.So that the final result code like this:

<title><data:blog.pageTitle/></title> .



<meta content='blog description here' name='description'/>



<meta content='keywords here' name='keyword'/>

6.Now what you need to do is to change the text given in red(blog description here and keywords here) with your own blog's description and keywords.eg.If I was doing it for my blog,then I would have changed blog desciption to Get Latest Blogger Tricks,SEO tricks,widgets,PC Tips,Orkut Tricks and keywords with Blogger Tricks,SEO tricks,widgets,PC Tips,Orkut Tricks.

7.So you should change it with your own blog description and keywords.
