Airtel,the company which was given Second Best Consumer Satisfaction Award 2009 after LIC,has probably failed to keep this thing up in the year 2010.Airtel is proving worst nightmare to many of its users.They are giving there Value Added Service even without the full and proper consent from the subscriber.I don’t know why is this happening many of my friends also suffered the same problem.They were being charged for the service they have unsubscribed from.Maybe there system is suffering from some huge error.So here are some precautions,that an Airtel subsciber should follow in order to safeguard his balance and make sure he doesn’t become a part of this SCAM!!!
1.Never answer promotional messages and calls made by Airtel.You are advised to subscribe to Airtel’s Do Not Disturb Service which will stop any promotional messages being sent to you by dialing 1909(Toll Free) and following the instructions.
2.Never get in trap sent by Airtel that dial this number which is shown toll free.It can get your balance down and a service can get activated on your number.
3.Do not use any of the VAS provided by Airtel,only if required very necessarily.
