Vodafone’s new Super Week offer is here in which they are providing free Email service of Yahoo! and Gmail till 6th of May 2011 . Their previous offer was Free Games and before it was free social networking . I think its good that they are giving away such offers to attract new customers after MNP ( Mobile Number Portability ) has started in India  . So all Vodafone customers can use this free Email service by simply sending an SMS as SUPER to 111 . Note that this service is applicable for both 2G and 3G Vodafone customers . 1.Go to Call Divert option in the settings menu of your mobile.

2.Divert calls when not reachable,when not answered,when not available to 17010.

Many Vodafone users don't know how to use the GPRS service provided by them.So I will tell you about each and everything GPRS.
Vodafone GPRS service is really good and true value for your money.Browsing and downloading speed is unbelievable.You will get an average speed ranging from 20kbps-60kbps.Browsing speed is also comparable to Mobile Broadband Services such as Tata Photon+ and Reliance Broadband.So here is how to activate and use GPRS service.

1.Recharge your number with Rs21 recharge.Note:Your internet will work for 2 days for this recharge as shown in this post.
2.It may take about 1-2Hr for the activation.

Vodafone is probably gonna beat Airtel someday.In my earlier post,I have told how Airtel's Value Added Services are getting worst,which forced me to move to Vodafone.Vodafone is really cool Mobile Service provider and has thousands of value plans.

Recently,Vodafone introduced a new plan called SMS5.It gives user a benefit of unlimited(30,000) local and national SMS only for Rs5 for 7 days,which means 1,20,000 SMS for one month in just Rs20.It is really cool and cheap plan.But the only problem it have is,that it is only for some selected subscribers choosen randomly by Vodafone.So if you have received any such message from them,don't wait and simply go for this plan.
To Activate this plan,send message as SMS5 to 144(Toll Free).

Airtel,the company which was given Second Best Consumer Satisfaction Award 2009 after LIC,has probably failed to keep this thing up in the year 2010.Airtel is proving worst nightmare to many of its users.They are giving there Value Added Service even without the full and proper consent from the subscriber.I don’t know why is this happening many of my friends also suffered the same problem.They were being charged for the service they have unsubscribed from.Maybe there system is suffering from some huge error.So here are some precautions,that an Airtel subsciber should follow in order to safeguard his balance and make sure he doesn’t become a part of this SCAM!!!
1.Never answer promotional messages and calls made by Airtel.You are advised to subscribe to Airtel’s Do Not Disturb Service which will stop any promotional messages being sent to you by dialing 1909(Toll Free) and following the instructions.
2.Never get in trap sent by Airtel that dial this number which is shown toll free.It can get your balance down and a service can get activated on your number.
3.Do not use any of the VAS provided by Airtel,only if required very necessarily.

1.Recharge your mobile with Rs11 before recharging with Rs10 which will give you benefit of 70 local SMS for 7 days.

2.Now when you are done,recharge your mobile again with Rs10 which will give you another 300 local SMS benefit with night calling.But the difference this time will be this that the validity will be worth 7 days and not 3 days and you will be able to enjoy much more and you will be able to Express More!!!

Like Airtel and many other telecome service providers,BSNL has also started a quick recharge number.Sometimes, on dialing 123,no response comes.And sometimes,users are unable to make a call at 123.So in such a situation,you can simply recharge your number using this tricks:

1.Scratch your voucher for your 16 digit PIN number.

2.Dial *123* followed by your 16 digit PIN number.Eg, Dial *123*1234676784235689# if your coupon number is 1234676784235689.

3.You may also receive no response sometimes,but then also,your recharge would have been successful. If you are not sure about that,you can again dial the same number with same PIN and you will get message that this voucher has already been used on your number.

BSNL is really Connecting India by providing its users somewhat extra for what they have paid for.I have a good news for BSNL GPRS users.BSNL GPRS users can use internet for 48 Hrs,i.e., 2 days instead of 24 Hrs using per day GPRS Card which is available for Rs 22.There is a simple thing you need to know about how to do this and it is nothing like a hack or changing your default settings,but an error in the system database of BSNL which made this possible.
